Alpha draft -- this page describes Validacy's intended controlled-alpha practices and has not yet been reviewed or approved by legal counsel. It will be replaced with reviewed copy before any general availability launch.

These terms describe the controlled alpha of Validacy: a limited, invitation-only preview of the product for a small roster of trusted testers. By using Validacy during the alpha, you agree to the following.

Alpha status

The product is under active development. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Use disposable or redacted test documents wherever possible; do not rely on the alpha environment for production record-keeping.

Accounts and access

Any authenticated account may create an independent Organization and becomes that Organization's Owner. Team members are invited by email, bound to a specific Organization and role, and can be revoked by an Owner or Admin at any time.

Credential requests and communications

An Organization may request a Credential from a Person by SMS and/or email. See the SMS disclosure page for consent and opt-out details. A Person controls whether to upload a document and which Organization(s) may access it.

No warranty during alpha

The alpha is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, while Validacy validates the product with real testers ahead of a broader release.
