Privacy notice

Alpha draft -- this page describes Validacy's intended controlled-alpha practices and has not yet been reviewed or approved by legal counsel. It will be replaced with reviewed copy before any general availability launch.

Validacy is a credential-trust platform. Organizations use Validacy to request, collect, and review Credentials (documents, certifications, and related compliance records) for people they work with. This notice explains what we collect during the controlled alpha and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in method (Email, Google, or Microsoft).
• Organization information: organization name and the people you invite or request Credentials from.
• Credential data: documents you or a Person uploads, along with associated metadata (Credential type, jurisdiction, expiration, review status).
• Delivery data: the phone number and/or email address an Organization supplies to deliver a Credential request, and the resulting delivery status.

How it is used

Credential data is used only to fulfill the request/review workflow between a Person and the Organization(s) they choose to share with. Access to another Organization's data is not possible: the platform enforces per-Organization isolation. Delivery data (phone number, email) supplied for a specific Credential request is used only to deliver that request and is not merged into a Person's general profile without their action.

Alpha-specific handling

During the controlled alpha, test data is expected to be disposable or redacted. The alpha runs on a gated, password-protected environment intended for a small roster of trusted testers, not the general public.
